There’s no better way for us Jews to welcome Spring than by chewing on matzah to remember our ancestors. Matzah is probably one of the most boring foods of all time, which is why I decided to share some of my favorite ways to eat matzah with you! Here are some of my favorite matzah hacks for Passover.
1. Matzah Pizza
The easiest and best way to eat matzah. Spread some tomato sauce on your matzah and drizzle some shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Then, pop your pizza in the microwave for a delicious dish.
2. No-Bake Layered Matzah Cake

Melt dark chocolate, spread it on a piece of matzah, and place raspberries on top. Repeat this as many times as you’d like, placing each layer on top of the others.Machos: Matzah Nachos. Simply break a piece of matzah into pieces. Lightly coat both sides of each piece with olive oil and sea salt. Bake the pieces on 300 degrees for 15 minutes. Now, top the nachos with cheddar cheese and jalapeno, and pop them back in the oven for 10 minutes at 425 degrees. Thank me later.
3. Matzah Hot Dogs
Whisk together an egg and three tablespoons of water. Place an entire piece of matzah to soak in this mixture for a few minutes. Wrap the piece of matzah around a hot dog, and then heat the matzah wrapped hot dog in a skillet, using two tablespoons of oil. When the matzah is crisp and the hot dog is cooked, serve this delicious snack with mustard!
4. Fried Matzah
This is a breakfast favorite. Break up a matzah square into small pieces and place the pieces in hot water. Then mix them in a bowl with eggs, cook them in a frying pan for about 10 minutes and wallahhh!!
5. Matzah Smores

Break a matzah into squares the size of graham crackers. Drizzle melted chocolate on top, and refrigerate for 5 minutes. Then, layer the matzah with pieces of chocolate and marshmallows (toasted under broiler), and more matzo squares.
6. Maztah Granola
Break matzah into small pieces. Then mix in ½ cup of chopped walnuts, ¼ cup safflower oil, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tbsp honey, and ½ tsp salt. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for around 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool.
